The African Foundation for Personal Growth and Professional Development (AfriPad) is dedicated to developing, evaluating and disseminating programs and activities that foster young people’s moral, social and intellectual development.
While nurturing young people’s ability to think critically and skillfully, AfriPad strives to intensify youths’ commitment to personal responsibility, gender equality and the respect for others – qualities we believe are essential to leading productive lives and creating a better continent.
With Operations both in Liberia and soon in Ghana, AfriPad intends to work with stakeholders to bring this continent up to its true potential.
You know it's really easy to just sit back, watch things happen, and say " that's sad".
We could all sit and say its sad that even as technology advances with such incredible speeds, there are some people in part of the world who would "carry a letter bearing their execution order" simply because they cannot read or write...
We could all sit and watch millions of young people get exploited by greedy people ll across Africa who thrive on seeing the continent in chaos.
They turn these young men and women into soldiers and use them to commit the worst atrocities only because those young people are mostly illiterate...and say its sad that young people are poisoned to the point where they murder entire families with no remorse.
We could all sit and watch as HIV/AIDS eats up generations of young Africans simply because... well, young people have just not seen the need to use condoms... and say it's sad
We could sit and say it's sad.
We could all sit and say it's sad because it does not affect us personally..
We could all sit and say it's sad becasue we've been blessed to have had good education
We could all sit and say it's sad because we have great health care services
But what good is the world when it's just you alone in it?
What good is your education when you have no one to share it with or demonstrate it to?
what good is your health when everyone else around you is sick?
What good is it to just sit back and say it's sad?
We at AfriPad have gotten up, and we're doing. We're no longer sitting and saying "it's sad".
Isn't it time that you joined forces with AfriPad in building sound minds across Africa?
